đăJapanese Christmas Gift Ideas / Watch Japan â˝
Christmas is coming. But what can you give to people? You could take my idea and give the greatest gift of all of course, the pleasure of your time and company,
But that excuse for either forgetting or neglecting to buy presents doesnât work with everyone though. Trust me.
So how about a Japanese inspired gift? You might find ideas this Sunday afternoon in Portslade at Cafe An-Anâs Christmas market (see details in the image at the bottom of this page).
Itâs a very warm and welcoming venue as I find out when I went there recently with some Brighton Japan Club members for delicious okonomiyaki (Japanese savoury pancake)
Also on this Sunday, you can follow Japanâs World Cup journey by watching Japanâs next game against Costa Rica.
I hear many Japanese in Brighton will gather to watch the game at the Brighton Bierhaus on Edward Street in Kemptown. Please feel free to join them.
I have been told they will open from just before 10am on Sunday morning to show the match. Then straight after the game, Japanese food will be on sale including gyoza, yakisoba, teriyaki burgers and tofu burgers.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it myself. I am still sulking after my favourite team, Shrewsbury Town failed to qualify.
Another great idea for a present would be booking them Japanese lessons of course. Why didnât I think of that before?
On that note, our schedule for group lessons in January has been released. Get ÂŁ10 off if you book your place by December 21st. Please see the schedules linked to below.
