Absolute Beginner Student

“I am very happy with the On Line Japanese classes with Tom from Shimaguni. The classes have been offered on line on the Zoom platform and this has enabled me to join as I do not live in Brighton. The video link has been overall good and it has been possible to see the teacher and the material well. I have learnt already some words and expressions and the hiragana alphabet. The classes are relaxed and fun. I plan to continue with the classes and with other interesting activities with Shimaguni.”

Beginner Student

“This is now my 6th six-week course and I am loving it. While sometimes it can take me a few mins to process words and hearing the sentences, I'm learning every time. Our group has also been the same now for a while which helps with confidence of speaking. Despite it being COVID circumstances, the virtual sessions have worked really well and Tom is great at giving everyone the opportunity to answer and ask questions”
